Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain language, how PopOut&Share handles data inside the app. It is written to reflect the product as it exists today and will be updated as features evolve.

What we collect

Account information you provide, such as email, username, profile details, and avatar
Content you create in the app, such as memories, captions, comments, messages, journal entries, and listings
Transaction and booking data when you use marketplace, booking, wallet, or payment-related features
Device, session, and security information needed to authenticate accounts and help protect the service
Location information only when you choose to share or enable location-based features

How we use data

To operate the app, deliver features, and show the content you choose to publish
To authenticate users, prevent abuse, investigate reports, and secure the platform
To process bookings, payments, support requests, and account actions
To improve product quality, reliability, and support workflows

Messages and encryption

PopOut&Share supports end-to-end encrypted private messaging in supported conversation flows inside the app. When end-to-end encryption is enabled for a conversation, encrypted message payloads are intended to be unreadable to PopOut&Share servers.

PopOut&Share offers both standard chats and encrypted chats. If encryption status matters for a conversation, use the in-app chat mode indicator in Messages and review the Trust & Safety page for the current product description.

Payments and financial data

Payment processing may involve third-party payment providers. PopOut&Share is designed so server-side secrets stay on the server, and stored payment tokens are handled separately from public frontend code. Availability and behavior may vary by provider and market.

Your choices

You can control privacy settings for memories, profiles, and some discovery features
You can choose whether to share location when location-based features request it
You can request help, account support, or privacy-related follow-up through the Help page
You can request account deletion through supported account settings and support channels

Data retention

Fading memories are designed to expire after the selected fade period unless they are saved, pinned, converted, or otherwise preserved by a feature you intentionally use. Some operational, billing, abuse-prevention, or support records may be retained longer where needed to run the service or investigate issues.
